Information pursuant to Art. 13 and 14 of the European Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data


We hereby wish to inform you that the processing of the personal data provided by yourself directly or not, is carried out fairly and transparently, for lawful purposes and with the protection of your privacy and rights.

The processed personal data may be as follows: personal data (name, surname, date of birth, etc.), company contact data (e.g. email, landline and mobile phone number, etc.), personal contact data (e.g. email, landline and mobile phone number, etc.), job title and company role, company affiliation, educational qualification, place of work and company affiliation, language spoken. Such data are collected only if necessary for the purposes indicated below.

In cases where your personal data has not been provided to us by you, it may have been given to us by your company, collected from websites or public registers or communicated to us by your acquaintances, either in a professional or private capacity.

Your personal data are processed for the purposes indicated below.

  1. Management of pre-contractual information and fulfilment of contractual obligations undertaken for the sale/purchase of products/services. The data processed for these purposes are retained for the period of time prescribed by the laws in force or, in cases where no legal obligations apply to retention, as follows:
    • in the case of customer employees, personal data are retained until the decommissioning of the plant or, if there is no knowledge of such a decommissioning, for a maximum of 20 years; in the case of the resignation of the customer's employee, the data are deleted upon knowledge of such resignation;
    • for employees of suppliers, personal data are stored for 5 years after the last contract/order; in cases of resignation of the supplier's employee, the data are deleted when such resignation becomes known.
  2. Fulfilment of obligations deriving from laws, regulations, EU legislation and civil and tax laws: e.g. administrative accounting, tax, health and safety at work etc. The data processed for this purpose are retained for the time period prescribed by the laws in force.

The processing of personal data referred to in purposes a) is lawful because it is necessary for the performance of a contract with the customer/supplier company or for the management of pre-contractual information. Your consent is not required for such processing.

The processing of personal data under purposes b) is mandatory by law. Your consent is not required for such processing.

The provision of data - purpose a) - is necessary for pre-contractual and contractual fulfilment. Failure to provide this information may make it impossible to receive and provide pre-contractual information and to complete the conclusion of the contract.

In the case of work to be carried out in third countries, your personal data may be transferred to those countries, subject to the conditions set out below, which will differ depending on the third country of destination:

  1. adequacy decision.
  2. BCR (Binding Corporate Rules).
  3. Standard data protection clauses.
  4. Adherence by the data controller or processor in the third country to a code of conduct approved pursuant to Article 40 of the European Regulation 2016/679, together with a binding and enforceable commitment (by the data controller or processor in the third country) to apply appropriate safeguards, including the rights of data subjects.
  5. Adherence by the data controller or processor in the third country to a certification mechanism approved pursuant to Article 42 of the European Regulation 2016/679, together with a binding and enforceable commitment (by the data controller or processor in the third country) to apply appropriate safeguards, including the rights of data subjects.
  6. Your explicit consent.

In view of the different conditions to be used depending on the third countries of destination, copies of the appropriate or suitable safeguards adopted are available on request from the Data Controller.

If the processing of the data is necessary for work activities to be carried out in third countries and none of points 1 to 5 of the preceding section apply, the lawfulness of the processing will be based on your consent.

Within the limits strictly necessary for the aforementioned purposes and in full protection of your confidentiality and rights, your personal data may be disclosed to employees and collaborators who are authorised to process them, as well as communicated, also for legal obligations and always within the scope of the aforementioned purposes, to consultants and freelance professionals, to the provider of the electronic communication service that handles the transmission of e-mails and to companies that perform exclusively administrative, accounting, tax, technical and organisational tasks for us.

No form of disclosure of data is envisaged.

We would also like to inform you that the European Regulation grants you certain rights, insofar as they apply to the processing carried out and the purposes defined, such as the right to access your personal data, the right to object to the processing, the right to rectification, portability, restriction of processing, erasure and withdrawal of consent.

For the transfer of data to third countries you have the right to revoke your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before revocation. This revocation may be exercised in the manner set out below.
